A dark site for an AI product that has to explain itself in one scroll.
Lapse is an Astro theme for AI startups, SaaS products and developer tools. Near-black surfaces, quiet grey type, monochrome product shots, and a few interactive moments that make the product feel alive without turning the page into a demo reel.

Interactive, not decorative
The navigation folds into a floating capsule as you scroll. How it works pins in place and steps through the product, and a sideways card track carries the features. Testimonials roll over a field of flowing lines that bend around the cursor. The closing call to action is a photo made of thousands of particles that part and swirl under the pointer, and the 404 page is a stream of glass shards you can push, ripple with a click, and gather by holding. Every effect is original code with no runtime dependencies, pauses off screen, and stands down under <code>prefers-reduced-motion</code>.
Easy to customize
Blog posts are Markdown files with typed frontmatter. Each page's copy, plans and pricing sit in JSON files, so changing a headline, a price or a team member is data entry, not layout work. Colors and type are tokens in one stylesheet.

Built with care
Unique titles and descriptions per page, one H1 per page, descriptive alt text, keyboard-friendly toggles and tabs, and three tuned breakpoints from desktop to phone. Fonts are self-hosted through Fontsource. Static output, deploys anywhere.
